This is a collection of the menus and advertisements I designed for American Pie over the course of a couple of months, the menu (2nd from the bottom-right) was nothing fancy when I arrived and they aren’t too special still, but I reorganized the layout to make it more readable, as well as adding icons around the page to help grab the attention of the reader. The owner wanted something simple but efficient so I created this black on white menu for him. The rest of these pieces are advertisements for specials and promo posters that were posted around town and on facebook to get the buzz going about the new Pizza Place which had to compete with the very well established Caz Pizza, which though established, had inferior product. With the help of these designs and some viral marketing done in the town and on campus at Cazenovia College, American Pie has passed the typical one-year mark that most new businesses in Cazenovia close after, and has expanded its client base almost 60% since the first 6 months.

This is a magazine cover designed for a concept I came up with. It would be a magazine filled with art and design, so full that it cannot fit in a normal sized magazine, it needs to be a banana clip.

Here is a digital-concept to completion for the Vicious Circle logo designed by myself with assistance in conception and design by my partner Kaleb Ladd-Cocca. This is a very important brand for myself and Mr Ladd-Cocca as it is the name and brand for our design collective and freelance design company.
The concept behind the name and logo is not only a play on words, we chose the image of the Ouroboros (snake eating its own tale) as our icon because it lends to the complete circle that is design, from concept to design and completion. It has three heads, one for Photography (Kaleb’s profession), one for Illustration (my profession) and the top one for Design (our shared profession) which is the merging of both concepts and so much more. The star at the center is supposed to represent the true star of the design show, the client, for without their concept, their need, their product, there would be no real call for professional design.
The slogan, “Come with me if you want to live”, is meant to basically infer that we will breath life into your creation and really take it to the extent of it’s ability.

This is an identity package I designed for professional photography Olivia Bosies, I designed a letter head, logo and business card for her, bottom right of this page are the first concepts for logos for her, she requested something flowing and water like, with blue or green, so I designed the logo to have a bubble-like nature, and the overall feel of the branding to have a very smooth wave design throughout, which can be seen on either of the business card styles and the letterhead, the logo was also used on her website at http://www.orbosies.com/ and is her current identity.
